Balancing the early game

As usual, balancing is a complicated and intricate process.
My current goal is to let the players have a chance to snowball in the first three to five turns and than start challenging fights.
The starting deck was a bit too streamlined, with not too much variety, so I decided to reduce starting encounters in favour of additional cards, with rewards not too game-breaking. We'll see how it goes
